Hospice gives people who are terminally ill the opportunity to die with dignity and compassion in a tranquil environment, cared for by professionally trained staff.
We currently offer Hospice service which provides in home palliative care for the terminally ill. We are able to offer medication, dressings and other consumable items together with around the clock nursing care.
We also help with the rental of hospital beds, walkers, wheelchairs, commodes etc. for home care.
The ultimate goal with this service is to make the final days of a terminally ill patient as comfortable as possible together with helping their family members cope with the stress of caring and the inevitable loss.
We are a charity funded body and as such we rely heavily of the generosity of businesses and individuals in the form of donations or sponsorship.
We are always in need of equipment and supplies to better able us to serve the people and communities of Antigua and we would therefore be delighted to hear from anyone who could help us in this way.
